Navigating the Intersection
of Business and Human Rights

The Canadian Forum for Business and Human Rights brings together scholars, policymakers, and practitioners to explore the intersection of corporate activities and human rights, addressing topics such as corporate social responsibility, supply chain ethics, and legal frameworks for ensuring human rights standards in business practices globally.

Nestled along the north flowing Red River less than 50 kms from the geographic centre of Canada, the Canadian Forum for Business and Human Rights is a beacon and a resource for leading scholarship, collaboration, conferences and colloquia in the fast-growing field of business and human rights. An initiative of the Marcel A.Desautels Centre for Private Enterprise and the Law in the Faculty of Law at the historic University of Manitoba, the Forum offers Canadian and international scholars and practitioners a platform for dialogue on all issues at the intersection of business and human rights in an open, critical, and interdisciplinary manner.
